P4Create a pre-production plan for the animation

Synopsis:

There will be a family of 2 going to the event which takes place in London, There will be zombie themed drinks being served at the event to people present. The family will drink the drink they will start to twitch and people will begin to turn into zombies. The zombies will begin to attack the people who are still human, Then evryone will turn into a zombie and march along london then it will cut to credits and promotion for the brain goo event.

Target audience:

The breif for the event stated that the audiance they wanted to target was people aged 12-20 as the primary audience of both genders as they would appreciate the animation aspect of the prootion as they are the prime audience for animated advertisements. The secondary audience is horror and gore enthusiasts as they will enjoy films about zombies such as dead snow these people will be profoundly middle class and from mainly white ethnicity however that can be dependant on the platforms used to advertise the march. it also stated in the brief it will bezombie themed fancy dress this can open doors to the cosplay audience which is very big and have big events like comicon which is simmilar to brain goo and can influence the audiace to dress up for theevent and get fully involved. .

Medium: the animation will be on social media platforms such as the facebook event group and youtube where the majority of the audiance will be active on these platforms.

Purpose:

The brief stated the purpose of the animation is to promote the braingoo zombie fest march which is  taing place in centeral london, lectier square to be specific. It will be distributed on platform such as youtube and Instagram to further the exposure of the event as the purpose of this animation is to gain coverage and expose the target audience to the event through the animation which should capture their interest as it is targeting them and their interest. The overall purpose is to get people to attend the march.

Script: - This is the scrip showing the dialogue for my animation

Risk assessment

When filming there are many risks that you could face one is people injuring themselves on set and there are many ways this could happen such as tripping over a wire or slipping on the green screen and this could lead to use being sued therefor we will make sure that everything is covered and there are signs for people to see when they are near a potential hazard.

Another risk is presented when workingng with electrical equipment as they could be heavy and therefor is dropped on someone could injure them or even worse break a bone therefore meanign thy need to go to hospital to avoid this we will make sure that everyone usign heavy and potentially dangerous equipment is trained in how to properly use it.

Finally a risk is equiptment being stolen as a lot of the equipment  such as cameras and lighting when making a stop motion animation. These are expensive and therefore could lead to is being stolen however this is easy to counter will will make sure that when we are finished shootign all of the equiptment is locked up.

Equipment:

high-quality camera - to film and take each shot to place together the stop motion

tripod - to hold camera in place

boom mic - to get clear audio

green screen - to create backgrounds

Personelle:

voice over - to make zombie noises and give a natural feel to the sounds made for the animation

digital animation expert - to create the animation

sculpture artist -  to make the models out of clay for the animation especially with moving limbs

cameraman - to take pictures/film

2d backpate: I chose images of leicster square as it is where the event will take place and is a busy area perfect to use for a zombie attack I want a mix of the street and then the park to switch us each scene.

Gant chart:

M2Complete a SWOT analysis for the intended animation for the client

Strengths: A strength of this campaign is that it has a vast target audience as it targets audiences for both animation and horror. This will make for a more active audience as they will see the animation and relate to is as it is one of their interests. As they will see the animation and that will attract fans of animation which is already a very vast audience and then the zombies will attract the horror enthusiasts. This will allow us to expose them to the event which is aimed at them allowing for a successful event as a result of the animation. This will be available on a whole host of platforms such as youtube, social media websites such as Facebook and Instagram as our target audience use these platforms so we will successfully reach them. They also have the ability to share the animation with their friends who may also be interested in this animation.

Weakness: A weakness of this campaign is that Young children could be scared by the zombies and light horror theme as the animation will attract them only to find out it contains zombies and small ammounts of gore and this could put them off of it and make them less likely to attend the march. however the horror enthusiasts could find it to be to childish as it is not a stereotypical horror as it is a stop motion animation which is not usually connoted with horror.

Opportunities: An opportunity that we could find through this campaign is the animation we create can be used across different platforms such as social media platforms such as facebook for parents to take their children to the event as you can create pages for events and link it to the promotional animation. It will also be on Instagram as that is more for the younger target audience this is good exposure as they can share it by posting it and sharing it on their storys this will mean their friends can see it and this should lead to more views on the animation and more attendees at the event when it takes place as a lot of people have seen the animation.

Threats: A threat of this campaign is if it does not meet the standard of the ASA and could lead to the advert beign removed meaning the campaign would get little to no exposure. As well as this it could be coppied by other companies if it is a success or they could create something simmilar using the same idea as used for my animation.
